A month ago, The Document Foundation He launched a version of his office suite that he had delayed, in part, because he needed time to explain something. And it is that, programmed for v7.0 and since v7.1, the most popular free alternative to Microsoft Office has introduced the «Community» label, something that serves to differentiate what is maintained by the community that has less support and the Enterprise version. Be that as it may, from this afternoon there is a new version: LibreOffice 7.1.1.
LibreOffice 7.1.1 is the first point update in this series, which means it's here to polish the software. According to The Document Foundation, this installment includes over 90 bug fixes and improves document compatibility, which often means importing / exporting from or to Microsoft Office will now be more reliable.

The Document Foundation does not mention in the release note what news has been included, in part because they have focused on improving what already exists. Yes they have seized the moment to remind us that the best option is the Enterprise, as it includes long-term support options, professional assistance, on-demand or customized functions and other benefits. Logically, and as its label indicates, this will be worth it if we do a business use, but not for those of us who use LibreOffice occasionally.
The release of LibreOffice 7.1.1 it's official, so we can now download it from the project's download page, which we can access from here. As always, two options are available, v7.1.1 which includes all the news and v7.0.4, which lags a bit behind in functions, but ahead in stability. For this reason, TDF offers the second for production equipment.
As for what Linux users can download from there, we have RPM packages, DEB and the code. The update will be coming soon to Flatub and to some channels of some distributions, such as the "fresh" used by those based on Arch Linux.
