LibreOffice 6.4.1 and 6.3.5 already available to correct errors in both series, about 200 in the total sum

LibreOffice 6.4.1 and 6.3.5

The Document Foundation makes available to users at least two versions of its office suite. One of them is the most modern, the most up-to-date, and includes all the new functions that are being implemented, but also certain bugs. On the other hand, it also offers us an older version that it recommends for production teams, with fewer bugs but also fewer functions. A few hours ago they have updated both, among which stands out LibreOffice 6.4.1 for being the newest.

LibreOffice 6.4.1, which happens to software v6.4.0, has arrived correcting more than 120 bugs. The Document Foundation has not highlighted any as an important or special correction, but the truth is that the number of improvements in the form of eliminating bugs gives us the impression that the new version will work much better and be more polished than the one released now four weeks ago. Still, the company doesn't recommend v6.4.1 of its suite for production teams.

More than 120 bugs fixed in LibreOffice 6.4.1 and 80 in 6.3.5

The next recommended version for production teams is the 6.3 series. The latest installment is LibreOffice 6.3.5, which means that what they have released for a few hours is the fifth revision in the series. Five versions in which they have corrected bugs that are the reason why the company continues to offer it as the safest. In this series update, The Document Foundation has fixed more than 80 failures.

Regardless of the version that our operating system includes, the most advanced or the one recommended for production teams, the update has not yet reached the official repositories of most Linux distributions. To be able to enjoy one of them, right now we only have one option: download the software from the Official Site, from where we can download packages for Linux, Windows and macOS. The packages Flatpak y Snap they have not yet been updated.
