We have good news for lovers of free software. The office suite for free use par excellence has been updated. It is LibreOffice, which has been updated to version 5.3 with important new features.
This version It has been developing since October and they have had to spend 4 long months of development until its final version has seen the light. Development has taken a long time due to the multiple bug checks carried out by The Document Foundation team, something that is definitely worth it if we are going to have a very stable and error-free application later.
Among the most important news we have the Muffin interface, of which we already anticipated a little in this article. This interface will allow much more customization than the previous interface, something that is undoubtedly great news.
Muffin it will bring with it four styles of interfaces, which change the style in which the elements of the screen are displayed, such as the taskbar. Of course, Muffin is still in the experimental phase and it would not be surprising if there were changes soon.
As well other LibreOffice features have been improved, such as the integration of new table styles, compatibility with ODF 1.2 and support for fractions and new drawing tools in LibreOffice Draw.
