In mid-January, KDE He launched v4.4.2 of its tool created by and for cartoonists and introduced new tools and filters, among other things. Today, just over two months later, what they have done is release one of those little or nothing exciting updates, a Krita 4.4.3 which has been released solely and exclusively to correct bugs. But that it is not exciting does not mean that it is not important, because it is precisely these versions that make everything included in the past more reliable and stable.
As we read in the release note, Krita 4.4.3 includes stability and performance improvements, and it does so on all systems on which it is available, including Android and macOS. They do not mention a single novelty; practically every item on the list of new features that you have below includes the word "Fix" (correction). Therefore, it is worth updating because everything will be better, but taking into account that we will not be able to do anything new.

- It no longer hangs when the back button is pressed on the home screen.
- Fixed crash when loading files while the application is still starting.
- Use lastUpdateTime to copy assets.
- Provide a host for efficient pathPattern.

Krita 4.4.3 is now available from the official website, which we can access from this link. From there, Linux users can download their AppImage, and they also provide us with a repository to add to Ubuntu-based distributions. The app is also available as a bundle Flatpak y Snap, but at the moment both are still in v4.4.2 of the software.
