At the end of August we published on one of our sister blogs the presentation of a tablet with tablet specifications and a very attractive tablet price. Around €130, Ubuntu desktop and up to 16GB of RAM does not sound bad at all. During this week another tablet has been revealed that will be powered by Linux, although with a point that will surely put off the vast majority of users. It is the Juno Tab 3.
What is this new tablet like? In a blog like this, I think we should start by talking about the operating systems it can use: Ubuntu 24.04 with GNOME, Kubuntu 24.04 with Plasma or Mobian with PhoshAs always in Linux, it is the users who choose, but if I had to recommend something I would say that it is better to use a desktop operating system that is less limited.

Available from $699
The price for which the base model can be purchased is 699$/665£, going up to $799 if you choose the 2TB model. Considering what we are talking about, the price of the DC-ROMA Pad II — €130 this September — and that in almost any store you can get laptops with the same price for less money, well, everyone can draw their own conclusions.
And it just happened the same week that Sony unveiled the PS5Pro for around €800, without a stand or BluRay reader. It seems that high prices need to be normalised these days.
In its favor it should be noted screen size, not much else. The keyboard, as usual, is only available in English. Is a touch screen so urgently needed that you would buy a device like this? If you end up buying one, let me know how interesting or not it is.
