After v1.1 and a second maintenance update of the same, we already have a new major update of this free alternative to Illustrator. The first number has not been changed, but the second has, and from today it can be downloaded and used Inkscape 1.2. It has arrived full of new features, among which we cannot fail to mention that it has improved performance in all versions in general and in macOS in particular. And it is that lately the apple operating system is receiving more love than usual, but the M1 and later require it.
La release note is long, so it is worthwhile for those who want to know all the new features that it has introduced to read the original article in English. For example, now support multipage projects, an absence for which I did not use it in some tasks in which it would have come in handy in the past. Inkscape 1.2 can now be downloaded for all supported systems from your official website. From there, Linux users have an AppImage available, but it will soon arrive on Flathub, Snapcraft and, a little later, on the repositories of the different distributions.
