Helium Rain is more than a video game, it is an outer space simulator with which you will spend entertaining hours navigating between planets and asteroids with spaceships. Well, this video game brings support for GNU / Linux distributions as is happening with more and more titles. And also now we have heard good news, it will come out of Early Access next October and there will also be a major update available.
Helium Rain has been in Early Access, but now the space simulator will leave this stage shortly on October 11 for the pleasure of the fans and followers of this title. You can get more information and closely follow all the steps of the developers from the project official siteIn addition to this great news, there will also be an important update as I have indicated in the previous paragraph. This is one of the final updates that includes the improvements that we are going to tell you about now:
Between the news there is a new Artifact system that allows scanning planets for some research and knowledge points, a new economy model, improvements to the engine or AI system (Artificial Intelligence) of the video game, some updated graphics to improve quality and details, new sectors that you can visit in space, some bugs fixed, 12 new ships with improvements in engines and weapons, fast combat with Newtonian flight, joystick compatibility, improvements in the damage caused to the ship, more complex economy model, new planetary system for explore with 25 sectors, technological updates, etc.
These are important changes as you can see and you can have them soon, soon. The pity is that despite being a very interesting and special title, it does not seem to have much interest from users ... A shame to be honest, that this type of video game goes unnoticed.
