There are many video games, but few become so famous that they are mentioned in famous series and movies. That is the case of sagas like Half-Life, whose first title was released more than 20 years ago. In less than two months, Valve will launch a new installment and to celebrate the event has decided to launch a promotion that will be very welcome by many, but surely some others (or all) will think that it could be better.
But let's go in parts. The game they will launch in March will be Half-Life: Alyx, whose trailer you have after the cut. The promotion that Valve has launched is that they have put free the rest of the saga in Steam During two months. The fine print is that those two months are not a deadline to add them to our library, but we will be able to play during those 60 days at no charge but, after that time, the games will no longer be available; if we want to continue playing, we will have to buy the titles.
Half-Life: Alyx is coming in March
As we read in the link provided in the tweet published on the official Valve account:
Half-Life: Alyx takes place before the events of Half-Life 2 and the Episodes, but the games share characters and story elements. The Half-Life: Alyx team believes that the best way to enjoy the new game is by playing previous games, especially Half-Life 2 and Episodes, so we want to make it as easy as possible.

So now you know: take advantage. Of course, if you end up hooking on any of the (complete) games, you will have to pay the little more than € 8 that each title costs.
