They recently made a AM (Ask Me Anything) they did on the Reddit portal. There, users began to ask and some interesting questions were answered that give more clues about Google Stadia. - There are two types of subscriptions, one Base and one Pro. The Pro is more like Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation Plus. The base will be cheaper, but it will not have certain privileges. In both you can buy video games from the list to play immediately.
- Pro will have free video games that will be offered to you. If you cancel Pro to go to base, you will lose access to the games that have been offered to you for free, although you will keep the others.
- If you go back to upgrade your Base account to Pro, you will be able to get back all the free video games that you lost when you went to Base, but you will not be able to access the free video games that have been delivered during the period in which you canceled.
- La Google Stadia user interface will be presented before the November release. It will be simple and will allow you to play on any screen without having to wait for downloads, patches, etc.
- You can administer your purchases and lists of friends, social networks, etc. Achievements will not be enabled at launch, but will come a bit later.
- Google Stadia supports standard HID gamepads of all kinds, so other controls are also valid such as Xbox Controller, Steam Controller, Google's own, etc. That's because they use SDL as a base.
- But if you want to play on a TV then you will necessarily need the Stadia Controller and a Chromecast Ultra.
- If Google Stadia closes because it is unsuccessful, for example, another concern is whether users keep saved screens, etc. Well They will support Takeout so you can download your video game metadata if you want and thus you would not lose anything. - Google Stadia, unfortunately, does not support MODs. But it looks like they would like to include it in the future and the developers are trying to figure out the best way to include it for the future. That would be good for racing simulation games that support MODs or for Farming Simulator, etc.
- They also work for support cross-platform play, and that is a priority for its multiplayer mode.
