Just a week ago, the GNOME Project had the pleasure of announce a new version of your graphical environment. Is about GNOME 3.34, a new installment of one of the most popular Linux desktops that, although it includes many new features, mentioned that the most outstanding feature is its speed. Just before its launch we were told that there were a couple of distributions interested in adding it in the very short term and it seems that a few minutes ago we discovered one of them.
Yesterday, the official GNOME Project account on Twitter announced the arrival of its graphical environment to the Arch Linux repositories, so users of this advanced operating system and distributions based on it can now install GNOME 3.34. One of the earliest distributions to offer it has been Manjaro Linux, as you can see in the screenshot that heads this article.
GNOME 3.34 is really fast

Give Manjaro Linux a spin with GNOME 3.34!
Speed aside, and this is something that I have noticed even in a virtual machine of Ubuntu 19.10 Eoan Ermine, some of the most outstanding novelties of GNOME 3.34 are the possibility to create folders in the applications menu, which allows us to group the icons by categories, that the System Preferences window is responsive and we can shrink it until only one of two panels appears, or touch-ups in its image, which includes redesigned icons. GNOME Project has also taken the opportunity to improve many of its applications, among which we have its browser, Music, Maps or a Terminal that now also recognizes languages whose writing is from right to left or in both directions.
On the other hand, GNOME 3.34 will be the desktop version that Ubuntu 19.10 Eoan Ermine will use. Have you already tried it?
