One of these lesser known distros and that today we will dedicate this article to is Endless OS. If Ubuntu was presented as "The Linux for humans", Endless perhaps should be christened as we have put in the title, "The Linux for all", since development efforts go in that direction.
Its creators, a company based in California, United States, and that has made this system for free download. Therefore, Endless OS, despite being developed by a company is not one of those paid distros or that to support you need to pay as it happened with old glories like Linspire (Lindows), that Linux that intended to bring us the installation facilities in the purest Windows style with its CNR (Click'N'Run) technology that is now quite normal in many distros.
Endless has worked to make Endless OS an operating system accessible to all, simple and safe. With content for all audiences, whether they are office automation packages or other educational packages for the smallest of the house, to work online as offline. Therefore, it aims to bring together all the needs of the home in a single distro, generating a universal and simple product for those who want to take their first steps in the Linux world. Very focused on emerging countries as a tool for the day to day.
Like other distros, Endless OS brings more than 100 pre-installed apps, from basic applications to navigate, manage our mail, to some educational games through the office suite and Khan Academy content. In order to download it, you will find two editions, Lite and Full. The first is lighter and does not contain all the complete packages, and then gradually installs it, while the second is the complete ISO image with all the programs.
