Endless OS adds support for Flatpak Apps by default

endless you

Endless OS It is a robust and simple operating system that facilitates the use of technology for its users and brings information everywhere. This Linux distribution has a series of preloaded applications, just over 100 applications with which we can count by default in this distribution.

The distribution It has two versions: Lite and Full. The first is recommended to those who have regular access to the Internet and can be done with the applications offered at any time and on the other side the Full which is for those who do not have an Internet connection and this includes all the packages that offers the system.

And not only that, now the Endless development team announced recently from Twitter that Endless OS became the first GNU / Linux distribution to enable support for flatpak applications by default.

Although the handling of flatpak packages is not something new, the truth is that it was much advanced, since still other distributions have not ventured to what Endless has dared to do.

Either due to system solidity issues or because it is not within the plans of the developers of other Linux systems, Endless will seek to improve the system with this.

The applications that Endless adds through support for Flatpak las we can obtain from Flathub a software repository that allows us to navigate users in a simple way the search for applications and also giving the possibility to developers to add their own flatpaks.

In this manner From version 3.2.5 of Endless we can count on the support of Flatpak packages in the system.

Without more in its own way, I can only comment that some other distribution takes the same reins and joins this idea.

Good article, correct «solidity» = solidity. Or change to "stability."
