Ubuntu 17.04 development has already started

Ubuntu 16.04 PC

One of the most popular distributions in the world Gnu / Linux has made a great announcement today but also a news expected by all. Following the release of Ubuntu Yakkety Yak, Ubuntu development team has started Ubuntu 17.04 development also known as Zesty Zapus.

For those who had doubts about the name, definitely the new version will be called Zesty Zapus, this is how we have known it in the files created for the new development. However, the nickname of Zesty Zapus is not the only new thing that the new version will have.

In this new version, according to the developer Klose, the ARM64 and ARMhf GCC will be versions built by the Linaro branch of GCC, something that supposes a great change in development after the incorporation of Boost 1.62 and the OpenMPI libraries.

The development of Ubuntu 17.04 has already started but its official calendar is not there

The Ubuntu 17.04 development schedule is not yet known to us, but since it is not an LTS version, we imagine that the schedule will be similar to previous versions of Ubuntu. Being at the end of April when we have this version on our computers. Thus, quite possibly between April 20 and April 27 we will have the official launch. The first beta, taking into account previous calendars, would be at the beginning of March, approximate dates. Although we must emphasize that the official calendar is not yet available.

But surely many of you will not wait for the calendar or development dates but will wait for the news of the distribution, news that are still foreign to us. But this change in the ARM versions makes me think that Canonical and Ubuntu will focus on improving their version for SBC boards, including Raspberry Pi, the famous free board that so much community has behind it.

If you have no idea how to install Ubuntu on a PC, you can get the Dell or System76 PCs with Ubuntu pre-installed:

It is a very functional operating system, very safe, you will never find a virus that hurts or puts your security at risk. The reason why Windows is more popular is because of the games, but the people who work use this system, and there are already many games for Ubuntu and its derivatives, they are just not very popular. But in itself Ubuntu is a true operating system with which you can do many things

Will they fix the problem with the AMD Radeon cards that the LTS 16.04 had?
I always install ubuntu, but this has made me migrate in search of another OS, and I have simply been orphaned.
