The Annual Debian Developer, Contributors, and Users Conference, DebConf, already has headquarters for the following year. It will take place no less than in the Brazilian city Curitiba.
The DebConf 2019 (or DebConf19) celebrates 11 years of existence And to celebrate this brand, the organizers have decided that it be held in a city in South America, such as the first edition that was held in Mar de Plata, Argentina in 2008.
“2019 will mark 11 years since DebConf was first held in South America, we believe it is time to return. Brazil has experienced a great technological movement in recent years and Brazilians enjoy organizing events and bringing people together with a common hobby. ”

Until now, DebConf does not have an official dateHowever, organizers have said they will give enough notice so that everyone can prepare for the event and get their airfare and accommodation at a reduced price.
Taking into account the dates of the previous events, we can guess that DebConf19 will take place at the beginning of the second half of the year.
DebConf is the main event of the year and a crucial experience for Debian developers to share experiences and knowledge, as well as to test and break the features of the releases that will arrive next year with Debian GNU / Linux Buster.
