Chrome now allows adding credit card data to facilitate online purchases

Chrome and credit cards

I don't know what many of our readers will think, but the option is already there: Google has added a function in its Chrome web browser that will facilitate the process of making purchases online. Until now, to make an online purchase in a store where we were not registered, we had to log in and have Google Sync activated. From now on, everything will be faster and we will only have to log in with the Google account.

With this new feature, google web browser will store the data of the cards associated with our Google account. Thus, the new process consists of entering a service with our Google account, choosing the card with which we want to pay and finally, as always, adding the CVC security code to confirm the transaction. We can manage all this data from our Google profile.

Buying from Chrome will be much easier from now on

Another function that they have added is that, if we do not want to pay with any of the cards that we have associated with our Google account, we can add any other payment method. Once the new payment method is added, Chrome will store it so we can use it in the future. All payment methods can be managed from our profile page.

At the time of writing this article, this feature has not yet reached all users. Google tends to release new versions of its software gradually, so it is likely that you will still have to wait several hours for the new update and this new feature to appear.

As we mentioned at the beginning of this post, I don't know what many of our readers will think of this new feature, since there are not a few who do not trust too much in a company that feeds on our data to generate profits. Are you one of those who will use this function as soon as it is available or do you not finish trusting Google?

    "What, what, scelesti, ruitis?"
For me it is not the question if I trust Google, the question is whether it is safe to leave my card details in the browser (here if it is a matter of trust, but in Google's ability to conceive a secure browser). I wonder if there is much time left until now that it will be impossible to live without having a Google or Facebook account ...
Because living without a mobile phone is almost impossible (there are even places and state agencies where there is no option to register without a mobile number) ...
