Main novelties of Chrome 107
In this new version of Chrome 107 we can find the support for the ECH mechanism which continues the development of ESNI (Encrypted Server Name Indication) and is used to encrypt information about the parameters of the TLS session, as the requested domain name. The key difference between ECH and ESNI is that in ECH, instead of encryption at the level of individual fields, the entire TLS ClientHello message is encrypted, allowing you to block leaks through fields that are not covered by ESNI, for example, the PSK. To control whether ECH is enabled, the setting "chrome://flags#encrypted-client-hello" is suggested.
Another novelty that stands out in the new version of Chrome 107 is the change in the design of the interface to track the status of downloads. Instead of the bottom line with data about the download progress, a new indicator has been added to the panel with the address bar, when clicked, the file download progress and a history with a list of files already downloaded are displayed.
For desktop users, it provides the ability to import passwords saved in a file in CSV format. Previously, passwords from a file to the browser could only be transferred through the passwords.google.com service, and now this can be done through the browser's built-in password manager (Google Password Manager).
It is also highlighted that enabled automatic withdrawal of permission to display notifications from detected sites sending notifications and messages that interfere with the user. Also, for such sites, requests for permissions to send notifications are suspended.

On Linux, the platform content in the User-Agent has not changed.
Previously, the MINOR.BUILD.PATCH numbers that made up the browser version were replaced with 0.0.0. In the future, the header will contain only information about the name of the browser, the major version of the browser, the platform and the type of device (mobile phone, PC, tablet).
Of the other changes that stand out from this new version:
- Android provides a new interface for selecting media files for uploading photos and videos (instead of its own implementation, the standard Android Media Picker interface is used).
- Support for Android 6.0 is no longer supported and now requires at least Android 7.0.
- CSS Grid adds support for interpolating the grid-template-columns and grid-template-rows properties to provide a smooth transition between different states of the grid.
- Improvements have been made to the web developer tools.
- Added the ability to customize hotkeys. Improved memory inspection of C/C++ application objects converted to WebAssembly format.
Enabled support for hardware accelerated video decoding in H.265 (HEVC) format.
