Last minute yesterday, Google He launched Android Q Beta 2. The new beta of the version that, if nothing happens, will use the number 10 comes with news among which we have the typical bug fixes, some corrections that will be more numerous because they are software in the testing phase. Additionally, an updated SDK for developers has also been included. On the other hand, all the security patches for April 2019 have also been included.
Perhaps the most interesting of yesterday's launch is in a new multitasking mode called Bubbles (bubbles). "Bubbles" will allow users to prioritize certain information and take a look at the tasks that are running. Storage space for new app installations has also been enabled by default to allow them to run in a private sandbox without permission, a new emulator with support for foldable devices, improved sharing options, and support for expandable and directional microphones.
Android Q Beta 2 now available
Android Q will be available this summer and among the improvements that will be included, which are not new to beta 2, we will have a good number of security improvements. Support for Vulkan 1.1 graphics will also be included to improve the gaming experience, support for foldable devices, new multimedia codecs or new options in the camera. And is that mobile cameras are one of the strengths in any leading smartphone worth its salt.
Anyone who wants to test this and future Android Q betas can do so by joining the Android Beta program from this link. Initially only available for Pixel phones and whoever tries it has to bear in mind that it could run into many faults. Its installation is not recommended unless you are a developer or it is used in devices that we do not depend on. If you try it, do not hesitate to leave your experiences in the comments.
