Assaultcube is an FPS (First Person Shooter) style multiplayer video game, that is, a first person shooter game. It is based on the CUBE graphics engine and is available for multiple platforms. So far everything is normal, but there is a peculiarity that makes this title interesting. On the one hand it is available natively for Linux, and on the other hand it is totally free.
Since its launch in 2013 it has been on the mend, although lately the project didn't seem too active. But now AssaultCube 1.3 Lockdown Edition arrives. With all the good of the previous versions, but with some improvements. And all thanks to the fact that during the pandemic, a group of ex-developers decided to return and improve the project.
What's new in AssaultCube 1.3 Lockdown Edition
This new effort has resulted in improvements interesting for this AssaultCube 1.3 Lockdown Edition such as:

- 15 new textures.
- 2 new map models.
- High resolution player skins.
- Option to enter multiplayer mode as a spectator.
- System to prevent some players from taking advantage of special modes.
