Arch Linux is one of the best distros out there, it has quite a few loyal users and has now been Arch Linux 2016.02.01 announced. A Linux distribution that will be powered by the Linux 4.3 Kernel. It was presented on the first day of February and you can download the ISO from the project's official website to test all the improvements and news that this version integrates.
Arch Linux is highly powerful and customizable as you already know. The operating system is developed under a philosophy of elegance, minimalism, without unnecessary additions that make it more heavy or complex, and with a special package manager called Pacman. It also has a philosophy of updating or development Rolling Release, for constant progress, without sudden jumps or reinstallation to get the latest version.
One of the highlights of Arch Linux 2016.02.01 is its kernel, which is still supported in version 4.3. Y they have not integrated Linux 4.4 due to some technical problems that the developers of the distro have found, a shame without a doubt not being able to have a more updated version of the Linux kernel, but hey… What has been updated is the rest of the packages that are included by default in the distro, with the latest versions that appear in the official repositories this year.
As you know and we have already said, being a rolling release, if you are already an Arch Linux user and have a previous version, you don't have to download the new Arch Linux 2016.02.01 ISO To have the latest, you simply have to update your distro and you will have everything you need. However, the ISO is for those who have not yet tried or do not have a previous version of this Linux distribution, so they will have to start from scratch. So don't wait any longer and go download this new version of this well-known distribution.
