Android 8.0 Oreo causes reboots on the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus

Android OreoSamsung Galaxy

Samsung has reported an undesirable event that has occurred in its premium range terminals when updating to the new version of Google's operating system, Android 8.0 or Oreo as it is known by code name. The terminals affected by this problem are the Samsung Galaxy S8 as well as the Samsung Galaxy S8 + version. Both smartphones seem to have unexpected reboots with Android Oreo and this is a problem for all users who own one of these devices.

A week after its launch, the launches and updates had to be stopped, as SamMobile has informed its users, since they reported unexpected reboots after installing said update. "After a limited number of cases where the Galaxy S8 and S8 + devices have unexpectedly rebooted to Android 8.0 Oreo, we have temporarily stopped the update rollout. We are investigating the issue internally to ensure that the impact on affected devices is minimized and the update rollout can resume as quickly as possible.«.

As Samsung has indicated in its official statement, they continue to investigate the reason for this event and will soon have a solution for the error and it will be possible to continue updating S8 and S8 + devices to the new version of the Google system without rebooting. It seems that there are quite a few users who have been affected by this problem, so it is an important case. Those who have already installed the Oreo update will not have to do anything, just wait for the new update launched by Samsung to repair the problem and endure the reboots in the meantime ...

Instead, if you downloaded the update but you have not installed it yet, it is recommended not to do it at the moment and it will be removed automatically. As I said, it does not seem that they will take too long to launch the new corrected update, although it is true that Samsung has not discussed dates for the moment. At the moment we can only wait to see how the terminal works if you are affected and hope that everything will be solved soon.

Hold the reboots? There is a bit of bad faith in that observation my Galaxy S8, which by the way is not less powerful than the S8 + which only has the screen and the bigger battery but the CPU and Mem and the rest is the same, it was updated to Android 8.0 ago 8 days and I haven't had any reboots since then rather it goes better and smoother. I recommend doing your research, researching more before writing articles like this. I assume that surely there have been users affected by this but from there to saying that all users have to endure the reboots until an update is something exaggerated and in bad faith.

But this refers to the fact that these problems have it in some countries, this information is true, it only lacks to highlight that detail.
