System stability was improved, since it worked on a bottleneck for the leakage of resources caused by the FastFAT driver which had a considerable leakage of resources when having conflicts with the memory manager, the common cache, the hardware abstraction layer ( HAL).
Another notable improvement in FastFAT is the rewriting of support for damaged volumes which greatly reduces the possibility of file corruption. Every time a damaged volume has been detected during boot “chkdsk” will trigger a repair on those volumes.
