But what is Kali NetHunter App Store? From its name, it is easy to deduce that it is an app store. Android has many application stores available, among which we have the official Google (Google Play), Amazon, some more doubtful such as Aptoide and, from today in beta, an application store in which we will only find Android security apps that are relevant. Offensive Security's new mobile app store will offer us apps that will be used for rooted or unrooted devices, whether or not they are NetHunter.
Kali NetHunter App Store, the security store
Kali NetHunter App Store is a slightly modified version of F-Droid. We can also access it from on the web with a browser like Firefox, at which point we will verify that it is still in beta. From its «Browse» section we can perform searches or see the featured apps ... or rather read, because at the time of writing this article you can't see their icons (and no, it's not that Firefox security «breaks» the page). Among the outstanding applications that we will find, we have:
- aLogcat.
- bVNC Pro.
- ConnectBot.
- cSploit.
- DriveDroid.
- Hacker's Keyboard.
- Hash Droid.
- Hijacker.
- Interceptor-NG.
- LTE Discovery.
- NetHunter (app), NetHunter Store, NetHunter Terminal, and NetHunter VNC.
- NetHunterStore Privileged Extension.
- Nexmon.
- ONI Probe.
- Orbot.
- PixelKnot.
- RF analyzer.
- Router keygen.
Most of the applications that we will find in this app store will be unattractive for the average user, but they will be interesting for those who want to use ethical hacking tools on their Android phone. In any case and although we may think that it is too much, having options is always good.
A comment, leave yours
that it would not be easier for them to integrate their repository with f-droid and thus they do not make another store
