Min the web browser with a minimalist touch

Min

Today we present a new alternative for the most common web browsers, such as Firefox, Chrome, Chromium, and many others that we have already talked about on other occasions. This time it's about Min, a web browser with a minimalist-oriented design that can captivate you. He can offer you quite fast operation with simple features, if that is what you are looking for.

The Min project that you can find in GitHubIt is simple and different from traditional browsers as I have said. It can avoid "noise" and distractions during your web browsing. It is available for various operating systems, of course for Linux, as well as for MacOS and Windows. And although it cannot compete with the success of the big browsers and neither with their functionalities, perhaps you will find it useful.

I have heard about this project recently and wanted to share it with you. But it probably doesn't need to compete with Chrome, Firefox and others, but complement them. Earlier I talked about its ability to avoid distractions and avoid the "noise" of the web, and that is that it has a great ability to block pop-up ads thanks to one of its built-in features. If that seems little to you, you can also avoid scripts, and images, making the browsing speed increase even more by avoiding these elements having to be loaded.

It is also very easy to configure, and you can manage search, or make use of other of its functionalities to investigate. If you want the same address bar, you can use the DuckDuckGo search engines and the Wikipedia search engine, although we can also choose from others such as Google, BIng, Yahoo !, Bidu, and Yandex. Despite everything, Min is not perfect ...
